mysql5にアップグレード

yumを使ってmysql5にアップグレードしたのですが
起動しなくなり、mysqlを削除インストールしなおしましたが 下記エラーで起動しなくなりました。 OSはCENTOS4.5です。 どなたかお分かりになられましたら教えてください。 よろしくお願いします。 [root@vps mysql]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start Initializing MySQL database: Installing MySQL system tables... 071127 13:30:45 [ERROR] Error message file '/usr/share/mysql/english/errmsg.sys' had only 304 error messages, but it should contain at least 474 error messages. 詳しい状況はログ見ろ、と書かれているので、 それを載せないと誰もレスを返さないかな、と。 あと、これやってみろ、ともありますが、その結果はどうでしょうか？ |

本気でわかってないのか、調べる気が無いのか、知りませんが。
/usr/share/mysql/english/errmsg.sys は、エラーメッセージ集で、エラーの出力先ではありません。 少なくとも、英語を読む努力位はした方が良いと思います。 |
