Windows版Informix V94をインストールできない

お世話になります。
Windows版Informix V94をインストールしようとしたところ、
以下のエラーが出てインストールできません。

The Informix Dynamic Server has now been fully configured
Would you like to initialize it now ?

の後に

The database server could not be launched because the informix user
password
was incorrect or expired. If it did not expire, then enter the correct
password below .

if you do not know the correct password or it has expired , enter a new
password in the User Manager , check Password Never Expires box , and
re-enter the new password below.

そしてPassword入力ボックスが出ます。

ログインしようとしているユーザーはinformixで、管理権限はAdministratorとInｆormixーAdminの両方を持っています。
ところが、データベースサーバーを起動させることができません。

この先には進むことができないのですが、どのように対処すればいいのでしょう
か。orz
