2000サーバにおけるR6016エラーについて

いつも勉強させていただいております。

2000サーバーにおいて、ASP.NETのWebアプリケーションのサービス
をしておりますが、先日

アプリケーション　ポップアップ：Microsoft　Visual　C++　Runtime
Libraly　：　Runtime　Error！

Program：C\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspnet_wp.exe

R6016
- not enough space for thread data

_________________________________________________________________

のポップアップが多発しまして、サービスしているページは
「アプリケーションエラー」を返すようになっていました。

その時間帯は確かにアクセス数が多く、高負荷であったことは
間違いないのですが、似たような環境の2003サーバでは問題あ
りませんでした。

どなたか、2000サーバ上におけるR6016エラーについてご存知
の方いらっしゃいましたら、ご教授よろしくお願いします。

今日は。

googleでWINDOWS 2000 R6016で検索したら以下の様な英語の文章が出てきました。

どうやら負荷が高くてメモリを新規に割り当てられなかったのでは？
翻訳は面倒だったので（と言うか解ると思うので）原文そのまま載せます　m(__)m

We have started to get a windows thread space error when we start some
of our programs. We are using
Visual Fortran 6.1.a and Windows 2000.

The message we get is "R6016 - not enough space for thread data"

All I found out from microsoft Knowledge base was

C Run-Time Error R6016
not enough space for thread data

The program did not receive enough memory from the operating system
to complete a _beginthread call.

When a new thread is started, the library must create an internal
database for the thread. If the
database cannot be expanded with memory provided by the operating
system, the thread will not begin
and the calling process will stop.

Can anybody suggest what to check or where to look for more
information? Is there a way to specify memory?

ＮＡＯ様　ご返答ありがとうございます。

自分もやはり高負荷が根本的な問題と思っておりました。
やはりASP.NETを動かすには、2000+IIS5の組み合わせでは
限界があるように思います。

2003サーバの導入を検討しようかと思います。
ご教授ありがとうございました。
